Do you think “Anger Management” is about “suppressing” anger as opposed to properly channeling anger?

and in therapy,, how the patient becomes angry again?

and how they are controlled?

how the therapists “activate” their past angers and how they “release” this in a safe way or “Channel” it?

do they “release it” by hitting pillows or do they actually have the person “Channel” this energy, like in a controlled way?

please explain and describe
