Besides just being a fun and innocent way of addressing a person you are attracted to, flirting can also be an effective method for getting to know a person. But many men and women are not sure how to flirt or what exactly they should be getting out of the act of flirting.

We couldn’t possibly cover all of the different aspects of how to flirt here in this article, but fortunately we do have three simple tips for you to learn from below:

1. First of all, the fastest way to a person’s heart is to find something about the person that you truly like and appreciate, then simply compliment them on it. It could be the clothes they wear or the way they talk. Perhaps it is the way they do their job that attracts you, or how they treat other people. Whatever it is, compliment the person on it.

2. Another way to effectively flirt is to listen to the person. Get her to talk about something that she is very passionate about and then sit back and listen attentively. People just love it when you are into their discussion. In fact, the most powerful aphrodisiac is having your undivided attention.

3. Let’s not forget the simplest way to flirt: smiling. Putting on a big smile has been known to communicate many men and women of another person’s interest. But be careful, you do not want to give the wrong message to a person you are not interested in, so tone those smiles down to a professional but friendly level if you are not “flirting”!

So what are the benefits of flirting? Believe it or not, you can derive many benefits from flirting. Here are a few such positive ways that flirting can help benefit your life. Winning the war in shyness takes practice, but is definitely well worth the effort. Imagine waking up feeling good about yourself, being able to face the world with confidence and security and the knowing that no feeling of shyness can come in your way of achieving your desires.

There are hundreds of books written on the subject of how to lose our shyness, but it really just boils down to a few techniques that anyone can practice. Below are some suggestions of those techniques on how to overcome your shyness:

1. Here is a very effective technique from the famous author and motivational speaker, Brian Tracy. Every morning as soon as you get up, get in front of a mirror and say this affirmation out loud “I feel terrific! I feel terrific! I feel terrific!” Repeat this affirmation with enthusiasm for at least ten times everyday until it’s ingrained into your subconscious mind. Another great alternative to achieve great strength is starting working out with the recumbent bikes. You can refer to this list of the best performing recumbent bikes suggested by fitness experts.

2. Feel good about yourself. Look your best. Dress up more often. This gives you an extra feeling of confidence and self esteem. Know that you look good and that there are things about you that are worth getting to know better.

3. Take risks. It’s a very invigorating feeling. You are worth finding out everything the world has to offer. Be confident in knowing that change can only help you grow, and never hinder your confidence.

4. When you’re engaged in a conversation or with a group of people, it’s ok to let them know that you’re shy. This prevents them from misreading you. A lot of times, acknowledging shyness in itself is appealing and a good ice breaker. People respect honesty, and vulnerability. In turn, you will attract more honest people into your life as a result.

5. Come to terms with the fact that rejection is a part of life that everyone faces at one time or another. Accept this and know that you will get over it. Never take it personal. Keep in mind that people will reject you because of their own perception about how things are and should be, not because of who you are.

6. Engage in an activity that makes you feel good about yourself. Start a hobby like gardening that gives you a feeling of relaxation. Take some lessons like learning or mastering a musical instrument. Exploring on things that make you feel good is a great antidote for shyness.…

Positive Thinking: Get That Winning Attitude Today

I can do it

When most people think about “goals” they often think about how they would plan their workload. They think about their financial desires as well as their health and fitness goals.

But how about setting goals to be a more productive person each and everyday? How about setting goals to think more positive around people? What about setting goals on how many people you can motivate today?

By working hard to reach personal goals of self confidence, motivation, and positive thinking, all of your bigger goals will come with ease. There are several ways in which you can empower yourself everyday. Below are a few for you to write down in your list:

1. Develop good work habits: Many of our work habits are the result of years of previous jobs and careers, some of which were counterproductive. In order to break down your habits and change them for the better you must be willing to ask yourself, “Why am I doing this particular task this way and how can I improve it?”

Always strive to work more efficiently and learn the art of prioritizing your tasks by creating work goals and following through with them.

2. Take Responsibility: Once you begin to accept responsibility for everything in your life and all that you do, you begin to learn just how much control you have over your attitude, your life, and your thoughts. You can start working out with these spin bikes at home and achieve the great strength.

If you make a promise, then keep it. If you say you are going to do something, then take care of it. If you promise to deliver something at a specific time, then be on time! Work to reach these goals each and every day.

3. Surround yourself with successful people: One of the quickest ways to achieve the levels of success that you want is to develop an alliance with successful people that have achieved the same goals in which you are after. To be a high achiever you must think and act like you are a high achiever.

Success in business and in life is a total-consuming attitude because everything that you do must be done with the best of your abilities, everything! Make it a goal to go out each day and meet enthusiastic successful people. One good example is joining a success discussion forum on the Internet and find out what the high achievers are up to by browsing around and asking questions.…

Time Management: How To Prioritize Goals Fast

omnifocus-tips

Have you ever started your day with the intention of working on a specific project that was within the scope of your daily goals, and then discovered that the entire day had come and gone and you never got to it?

time-management

Perhaps it was an online project that you have been working on launching for weeks or months. Perhaps it was a simple chore that your wife had asked you to do the day prior. Whatever the task is, not having a enough time or not remembering the goal at hand happens to everyone at some time or another throughout life.

There is no one particular way that I am going to tell you to prioritize tasks with. You can label them however you want. For example, I prefer to have “A” tasks, then “B” tasks, etc. And within each task letter there may be several smaller goals that make up the entire job. On my list they will be labeled “A1” and “A2”, etc.

You must put your most urgent and important tasks first. In this case today my “A” goal is to do whatever it is that is most important, and with which would result in a very negative situation if I failed to do it. In other words, my most urgnent things to do are ones that have serious reprecussions if they were forogtten about.

An example would be my work requirements. Obviously I cannot go to the office and then play around on the computer all day, so I would label my main priorities in accordance with my work. I may get fired for this, or if I own my own business, I may loose my most profitable accounts if these “work requirements” are not adhered to.

By going further down the line, my D or E goals would be items that have little consequence if I missed them or not. Things like washing my car, checking my email, or phoning home to see what is for dinner. These are obviously not the most hard pressing items that I need to do, yet many times I have made the mistake of wasting time doing them, yet washing my car, making phone calls, checking emails, and browsing discussion groups could have been put off without any negative reprecussions.

Many people tend to get into the bad habit of putting off their bigger goals by doing the less meaningful tasks during the day. This leads to procrastination and then you wonder why you are not accomplishing your goals.

Set aside a lot of time to reach your major daily goals. Since most of our important projects or tasks can’t be completed in one sitting, you’ll make your life easier and reduce your stress level when you can work on them with plenty of lead time. You do a little now and a little later and before you know it – you’re done!…

Self Improvement: The True Meaning of Success

self-improvement-books

Irrespective of our profit income and net worth, true prosperity can only be created if we have a great balance between our jobs and our play time with family and friends. This means that truly successful people enjoy their personal life and derive just as much pleasure from it as they do from making money with their career life.

selfimprovement

Some may disagree, but far too many studies of thousands of successful men and women have shown that a great sense of well-being and success stems from a proper balance so that a personal life with family and friends a happy one. In fact, a truly wealthy person will tend to think more about giving pleasure to the important people in their lives as opposed to spending it working too much away from the family.

One of the cold hard realities of modern living is that we all have so many things we would like to pursue but extremely limited time to accomplish those goals. Everyone must make decisions as to how we spend our time. This not only includes how much time we spend at work but also how much time is devoted to our leisure activities.

It is obvious that if you have family that is important to you then being successful at work is irrelevant if you are a failure at the home-front. For those of you that are not aware of this little truth please know that it is entirely possible to be a big success at work and business, and yet totally miss out on life completely.

Unless it significantly changes your life and allows for more leisure time in the future, you should not be sacrificing current happiness for an extra few dollars, regardless of the amount. Sure it is wise to work hard and sacrifice, but to sacrifice your time, life, and family just for money will not do much good in the long run accept satisfy your own ego.

And do not give in to working your time away for material possessions. Day-to-day life will have little meaning if your main reason for going to work is to pay for the possessions that you do not have time to use! What is the point of being well off financially if you do not have time to enjoy truly live, but only to exist?

If you find yourself putting everything you have into business and financial issues to the deterioration and exclusion of everything else in your life, then you have a clear case of “poverty consciousness”. Spending time with friends, family, and doing things like meditating or going on adventures, are half of what you need for a life of purpose and fulfillment.…
